I started this thing about posting the special times in the life of my family members and I seem to have missed some so I will try to catch up in the next few weeks.
Jul 28th -- Vernie is the Eldest in a family of 5 children. He had one sister and 3 brothers. He was raise on a farm in Kentucky. 
He married Mary in 1940. They had 6 children.
He joined the Army and served his time during WWII. He returned to Kentucky after getting out of the Army. 
He is still strong and kicking at age 92.

He has a cat and a dog. They keep him busy.
He is a father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and a Great Great Grandfather. this is something that he feels very special about. He loves all of his children(6), grandchildren(20+), great grandchildren(15+) and great great grandchildren.(5+)
